About –The Masai Mara is considered by many to be one of Kenya's finest game reserves. The rolling grasslands that form part of the Serengeti ecosystem offer ideal game viewing and photographic opportunities. The Game Reserve hosts the world famous spectacle of the annual migration of up to two million wildebeest, thousands of zebras and an escort of carnivores from the Serengeti plains, following the rains and shooting new grass. The migration is in Maasai Mara betwwen July and early Oct. However, wildlife abound in this park throughout the year. Some of the animals which can be seen include elephant, lion, black rhino, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. Hippo and crocodile abound in the muddy brown waters of the rivers which traverse the Reserve.

Itinerary -  The Safari start opposite new Stanley hotel. AT 8 AM. We drive through the scenic Great rift valley, and get a chance to stop for photos and visit to Curio shops. We ave lunch in Narok, We arrive in maasai mara in time to check into a tented Camp, freshen up and head out for an evening game drive in the Maasai Mara. Dinner is served at 8. am followed by a camp fire with maasai Warriors dance and songs. The second day, breakfast is served at 8 am followed by a whole day safari. We have a picnic lunch in the Masai mara savannah plains. We head back to our tented camp or a maasai village if pre-arranged.  Dinner is served at the tented camp. The fallowing morning after breakfast at 8.am we proceed for a short game drive in the morning. We head out and have lunch in Narok Town. We then proceed to Back to Nairobi for those on 2Nigts Masai Mara or to Nakuru in time for an evening  game drive and spend the night in Nakuru at a 3 star hotel. The following morning we have a morning game drive at Lake Nakuru Game Park. We head back to the safari ends opposite the Stanley.

Nairobi City Tour

The city walk tour is conducted everyday. It is designed to allow free movement of visitors in the central business district. It allows for one to orient themselves with important buildings and facilities in Nairobi. The city tour includes and is not limited to

1.)    Mama Ngina drive from the Hilton. Here you may find anything you need in the central business district, from pizza joind, coffe shops, cinema, forex bureau , banks, ATM and a stature of our greatest freedom fighter.

3.)    Kenyatta International Conference Center – Here you will find the statue of the father of the Kenyan Nationa and the first president of Kenya Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, There is also an option of going to the top of the building(the second tallest in Kenya) for an aerial view of Nairobi Central Business District.

5.)    Uhuru Park this is where all major public rallies are held including the swearing in ceremonies of new presidents. It also has the freedom corner started by the environmental conservation guru and Nobel Laureate Prof Wangare Maathai. This is conducted at the Kenya National Archives opposite the Hilton. The National archives hold an immense collection of traditional and cultural artifacts collected in Kenya and Africa as whole. It is also the reservoir of historical documents. One can also get the cultural orientation at The Kenya National Museum. This orientation is conducted in a conversational manner as we walk round the archives looking at the different displays and is suitably interactive. Wildebeest Migration

One of the true wonders to see in east Africa is the annual wildebeest migration. This phenomenon is considered one of the Ten Natural Wonders of the World! Not to miss when you are on safari in Kenya.
The number of animals that are involved in this spectacular, natural phenomenon is staggering. It is estimated that more than 1.5 million wildebeest and at least 225,000 zebras and gazelles set out from the plains of the serengeti to start their nomadic voyage that will take them over almost 2000 miles in the coming year.
These animals are performing their pilgrimage to search for the grasses that they need to survive and during their migratory voyage they are stalked and hunted by strong and cunning predators. This is a journey where only the best and fastest will survive and the weakest and slowest will fall victim to the laws of nature.
The wildebeest is an animal whose life is a constant journey that begins at birth. Between the months of January and March nearly a half million wildebeest calves are born in Africa. Shortly after their birth these young animals become a part of the yearly wildebeest migration.
The Masai Mara is the place where thousands of tourists come as they hope to obtain a prime vantage point

The wildebeest do not always make this crossing at the same time of the year. Many times this migratory wonder will happen during July, but it could be as late as October when the animals make the river crossing. When there has been too little rain and no new grasses in the Masai Mara the wildebeest have been know to remain in Tanzania during these months.

When the Mara River is filled with water the wildebeest migration and river crossing is one of the most amazing natural sights you could ever witness.
The animals must all plunge into the river and swim to the other side in order that they can reach the thick, lush grasses of the Masia Mara. This crossing is fraught with dangers for all of the creatures. Predators are lying in wait or attacking from the rear and if the river water is deep and swift the crossing will be even more perilous. Many of the riverbanks are very steep and the sight of these animals leaping from the cliffs is simply breathtaking.

Haller Park - Mombasa

In this park you will see animals like buffalo, Hippos, Wild beasts, giraffe, crocodiles, snake park, small monkeys, a very large tortoise(100 yrs plus).

The park is on the main Mombasa - Malindi road. Even the other beach hotels around Bamburi beach are within the proximity of Haller park. It is a place worth visiting.

What amazed me is the way the animals have been conditioned for feeding, giving the visitors a spectacular view and great enjoyment. Giraffes are fed at 3.00pm and we even assisted in feeding, putting food in their mouths by our hands. Buffalo and hippos are fed at 4.00pm. When they saw the their feeder coming they moved from the bush and water and came closer to the feeding point where we had gathered and the visitors got an opportunity to see them at a close range and took photos.

The feeder wears a particular kind of clothing during the feeding that is how they are able to recognize him. Crocodiles are fed at 5.00pm. If you want to see all these, be at the park in the after noon.
